Paolo Buffa (1903–1970)

A rare oak storage cabinet with three doors, distinguished by an extraordinary relief front featuring a geometric diamond motif, achieved through sophisticated woodworking that creates pyramidal facets. The unique arrangement of these elements produces an elegant interplay of light and shadow, lending the piece a striking three-dimensional quality. The interior includes open compartments and drawers fitted with circular handles. A refined example of Paolo Buffa’s modernist design language, in which decorative exploration and geometric rigor achieve a distinctive balance.

Manufactured in the 1940s.
