Writing desk in wood and lacquered metal with tasteful references to "Retour d'Egypte". Truncated conical legs with sphinx-shaped capitals, leather top and bronze handles, Paris 1960's.
Boudin was called by First Lady Jacquelin Kennedy to decorate the White House in 1961 and earlier, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy commissioned him to decorate the interior of his studio in his private residence in Georgetown.
